Christina Chieffo

I'm a textile designer based in the New York area, with over eight years of experience in both creative development and sales across the textile and carpet industries. My passion for textiles began in high school, thanks to the encouragement of a mentor and FIT alum who recognized my potential early on.

I earned my BFA in Textile/Surface Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2018, with a minor in Art History. Since then, I’ve worked with companies like Kassatex, Sacco Carpet, and now Innovative Carpets — where I currently serve as a Senior Designer, specializing in custom Axminster and hand-tufted carpets for residential and hospitality projects.

At the core of my work is the ability to translate trends, materials, and client vision into thoughtful, commercially successful designs. I love the challenge of balancing creativity with functionality — and building lasting client relationships along the way.
